Stair tile replacement
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Skyfix Tile and Remodeling LLC is a licensed and insured Florida contractor specialising in tile, marble and natural stone, and the bathroom and kitchen remodeling built around them.
Skyfix Tile and Remodeling LLC is a Fort Lauderdale contractor built around one trade done properly: tile, marble and natural stone. Everything else we offer — bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, commercial flooring — grew out of clients asking us to handle the rest of the room once they saw the tile work.
Jerry runs the crews and is on site. When you call the number on this website you are not routed to a call centre or a salesperson working on commission; you get the people who will actually be in your house.
That is deliberate, and it is why our Google reviews read the way they do — punctual, pleasant, precise, professional. Twelve reviews, 4.8 stars, and almost every one of them mentions the crew by name.
Anyone can put tile on the floor. What separates a floor that lasts from one that does not is the hour spent with a straightedge before the first bag of thinset is opened, and the decision to grind a hump down instead of hoping nobody notices it. We price prep honestly up front rather than discovering it halfway through as a change order.
The single most common complaint about contractors in South Florida is not price — it is disappearing. You get a start date and a finish date in writing before we begin, and if something moves, you hear it from us the same day, not when you notice the crew did not show up.
We take personal and individual clients. One bathroom, a set of stairs, a backsplash, a handful of cracked tiles. Those clients tell other people, and referrals are how this business grew.
If regrouting will not fix the real problem, we say so. If the marble you have chosen is going to etch within a month in the room you want it in, we say that too, before you buy it. Losing a small job is cheaper than doing a job we know will fail.
Those two words are our whole pitch, and they have to survive contact with reality. Affordable means an honest price for work done properly, not the cheapest number in the market. Reliable means we show up.
The same process on a single bathroom or a whole-house floor. You always know what is happening next.
We come out, measure the real space, check the substrate and give you a written price. Not a guess over the phone.
We dry-lay the pattern, set the starting line and confirm grout colour and trim with you before a single tile is bonded.
Floors protected, dust controlled, cuts made outside. We work full days and tell you the moment anything changes.
We grout, seal, silicone the movement joints and walk the job with you. Nothing is finished until you say it is.
You should never have to take a contractor's word for it. Here is exactly what Skyfix Tile and Remodeling LLC carries, and we hand the paperwork over before we start — not after.
Need a certificate of insurance, a W-9 or a copy of our registration for your condo association, property manager or general contractor? Ask and we will email it the same day.
